Mission Statement
The Mission of Parma Hockey is to develop and maintain the love of hockey in all of its stakeholders; players, coaches, parents, and fans.
We will accomplish this while also providing a safe, secure, and friendly environment that allows the development of each athlete to their greatest potential.
Sunday, March 31
The Parma Hockey 2013-2014 Bantam team tryouts will take place on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 @ 7:00pm at Barons Rink, 5310 Hauserman Rd, Parma, OH 44130. This is an open invitation for all Bantam level players.
Parma Hockey is looking for a few more Bantam players for the season. All Bantam players who register before May 15, 2013 will receive $100 off the normal Bantam level fee! Now is the time, so don't delay! Any questions, click here to contact PHA President, Steve Greenhill.
Parma Hockey anticipates fielding a 1-2 Bantam teams, 2-3 Peewee teams, 3 Squirt teams and 3 Mite ADM level teams, as well as our very popular Mini-Mite program.

Parma Hockey Association 2013 Election Results:
The Parma Hockey Association 2013 Elections took place on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Ries Rink. The winning candidates are as follows and take office at the May 2013 Board Meeting:
2013 Elected Positions:
- President - Steve Greenhill
- Secretary - Cindy Sutyak
- Registrar - Tricia Cuglewski
- Three (3) Board Seats - Nancy Kappel, Chuck Knapik and Josh Price
These six will join our remaining board members (listed below) for the 2013-2014 season
- Vice President - (open)
- Treasurer - Paul Dubitsky
- Four (4) Board Seats - Tim Arthur, Dave Kovach, Dave Mindzora and Bob Keeler

Parma Hockey is once again proud to announce our annual end of season, March Madness Tournament - and this year, we're featuring MORE than just the Mite level. This annual tournament has been a staple in Northeast Ohio youth tournaments for over 20 years - and we'll once again be holding it at Ries Rink starting on (or about) March 4 and conclude it on March 17.
This year, we're looking to host most levels of play:
Bantams A Minor (teams from the A2/A3 level)
Peewee A Major (teams from the AA/A1 level)
Squirt A Major (teams from the AA/A1 level)
Squirt A Minor (teams from the A2/A3 level)
Squirt B (teams from the B2/B3 level)
Mite ADM Blue
Mite ADM White
ADM will be utilizing the ADM Model of Cross-Ice for games.
Don't wait, we anticipate slots will fill up fast! CSHL teams will get first preference; with placement based on the then current records and stats.

Next months' PHA Board meeting will be held on Thursday, April 4 at 7:00PM at Yorktown Lanes in the meeting room. As usual, all PHA Board meetings are open to PHA Members only, who are in good standing and wish to attend.

To the thousands of family, friends and even strangers who joined “Team Kashi”, thank you for your support. The love over the last year that was shown the Kashi’s from not only the Parma Hockey family, but from the hockey world, the Parma Fire Department and so many countless others - was incredible. For now, we ask that all of you keep Nick, Robbie, Brittany and Nicholas in your thoughts and your prayers - in their time of need.
We may have lost a Flyer, but Heaven has gained an All-Star.

Attention All PHA Members:
A generous donation was made to our association of Sportswear. This donation is a FUNDRAISER for our association. The items in the Hockey Room - which are hanging on clothing racks - are for sale for only $2.00 per item. THESE ITEMS ARE NOT FREE! If you wish to look through these items and make a purchase, please place $2.00 per item in an envelope and write sportswear fundraiser on the outside of it; and place it in the lock box in the hockey room or give to Tricia Cuglewski, the fundraising chairperson.
If you previously "went shopping" and helped yourself to any of these items without paying, then please do the same and pay $2.00 per item. Alternatively, feel free to return your unused and clean items back to the hockey room for others to purchase. Your honesty is much appreciated. Again, this is a fundraiser for the children of our association to continue to play the game of hockey.
