PRINCE GEORGE’S STORM
The Storm Mission . . . . Prince George’s Storm’s mission is to teach, instruct, and guide young persons while incorporating Biblical principles "so that each generation can set its hope on God" (Psalm 78:1-7). Since inception, Prince George’s Storm has been committed to teaching concepts of teamwork, sportsmanship, loyalty, honesty and pride; building healthy bodies and minds; developing skill and proficiency in a number of athletic programs; stimulating community interest in sports; and having fun in a safe environment.
The Storm Difference . . .
Prince George’s Storm is one of the only Christian-based youth organizations in the state of Maryland. Over the past seven years, Prince George’s Storm has achieved various levels of success as a result of the continuous move of God and His unwavering favor. Prince George’s Storm has won several local, regional, and national championships; played an instrumental role in preparing youth for high school and college football; established the Agape Learning Academy to provide free tutoring services to youth in the community; instrumental in outreach activities that empower the community; and is recognized as a model youth organization among its peers.
The Storm Volunteers . . .
We are proud that all of our volunteers that serve in leadership positions are Christians who desire to be good role models and have a positive influence on the lives of young people. All of our volunteers undergo background screenings, participate in community outreach activities, and receive leadership training to equip them with the tools necessary to empower our youth.
