"Class of 2008 Predators""Garza, Rugrat - Division 1 - North East Conference Champions" Sacred Heart University - FIRST TIME EVER NEC CHAMPIONS. Congratulations to both Alyssa "Salsa" Garza and Carl_y "Rugrat" Rudloff for being part of the 2009 Division 1 NEC Champions. An incredible job well done for 2 freshmen. "MFPE & University of Indianapolis advance to World Series" Congratulations to Brooke Johnson and the rest of the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds for winning the NCAA Midwest Super Regionals and advancing to the Division II World Seies. This marks the first ever appearence for the Greyhounds in the collegiate world series. Hailee named to "All-Newcomer Ohio Valley Conference Team" Making up the All-Newcomer team are Jacksonville State junior outfielder Hillary Downs (Childersburg, Ala.), freshman infielder Allison Svoboda (Gardendale, Ala.), and freshman designated player Meredith Sellers (Columbiana, Ala.); Eastern Illinois sophomore pitcher Amber May (Normal, Ill.) and freshman catcher Hailee "Hero" Hanna (Newbury Park, Calif.); Southeast Missouri freshman pitchers Giana Zimmerman (Westminster, Ga.) and sophomore infielder Nicole Troncoso (Palmdale, Calif.), Tennessee Tech freshman infielder Whitney Cummings (Tuttle, Okla.) and freshman pitcher Holly Thomas (Ooltewah, Tenn.); and Morehead State freshman utility player Kayla Brill (Newmartinsville, W.Va.) and freshman outfielder Sam Woodall (Dublin, Ohio). 2/24/09 Update: Congratz go out to Team Captain Brynne B. - She will be playing softball in the fall for "The Rainbow Wahine" at The University of Hawai'i. - Now Casper will be able to not only work on her tan, but keep John away from the hula girls - Congrats Casper, you've made us proud. 2/26/09 Update: Congratz to "Pop-Tart" who has committed to attend Western Arizonia and will join The Lady Matadors in the fall of 2009. - Great Job Amanda S. - You've made us proud!!!! 2/26/09 Update: Congratz to Sarah-Bea M. who has committed to Cal Luthern University here in SoCal. Sarah-Bea will be another 1st Baseman Predator alumni to be coached by Debbie Day and rest of the Regals staff. Congratulations SF - We are VERY proud of you! Class of 2008: Alexis C. - Signed Sept '07 to play at Long Island University - currently playing as right-fielder and pinch runner Hailee H. -Signed Nov '07 - Eastern Illinois University - currently starting catcher, leads the panthers in batting avg - has hit thus far 3 homeruns Carl_y R. - Signed 11/07 to Sacred Heart University - currently playing for The Pioneers as utility, 1st base & pinch. Laura P. - Signed 3/08 to Central Conecticut University - currently "red-shirted" for 2009 - is paracticing with the Blue Devils and expected to take over duties behind the plate in 2010. Kimmy G. - Signed March of -'08 to St. Marys University in NorCal - currently sharing pitching duties with sister and former Predator Marlena G. Nicole H. - Signed 3/08 to Occidental College in SoCal where she currently enjoying an incredible freshman season. Sammy M. - Committed July '08 to Angelina College in Texas - currently outstanding freshman for the first year Lady Roadrunners. Alyssa G. - Signed July '08 to Sacred Heart University where she is handling the reins of a D1 staring shortstop (while keeping her night time job as a hula dancer) Brook "MFPE" J. - Signed 7/08 to play at University of Indianapolis -currently been playing 3B, 1B & OF and swinging the bat that led the Predators in BA for the past couple of years. Heather Z. - Commited to U.C. Davis 9/08 - where she is currently playing for the Aggies as both an outfielder and catcher. Class of 2007 (Where are they now?) Jessie "TROUBLE" M. - Began her collegiate career at S.B.C.C., where as a freshman she had a truly outstanding year. Unfortunatley for softball, after her freshman year she decided to hang up her college cleats and concentrate more on her academic future. Erin "JAILBAIT" B. - Has enjoyed two incredible years as a freshmen starting 2nd baseman and as a sophomore starting shortstop at Santa Barbara City College. Erin also enjoys the prestige of being one of the best hitters to ever play at this school. Jenn "J-MO" M. Committed to S.B.C.C. her freshman year, during her sophomore year, Jenn was offered a scholarship to Cal State University of Northridge, where she is currently playing for the Matadors.
