P.A.S.S. Inc. Mustangs Football
2007


Registration
P.A.S.S. Mustangs will hold its registration beginning April 7th through June 15th. On site registration will be held every Saturday (except holidays) at the practice field.

Cost
Regular registration is $150.00 for each child. For each additional child of the same immediate family (sibling) there will be a $15.00 discount per child. After June 15th the registration fee will be $175.00.

Sponsorship Rewards
In 2007 we are giving each parent a chance to receive free registration though our association sponsorship program. Every parent that secures a sponsorship donation to the association of at least $500 will receive a free registration.   Upon request we will provide you with a sponsorship packet, which gives valuable information about our program and information regarding our 501© 3 status. If you have already registered your child, you will receive a registration refund for the amount you paid. Registrations will be awarded once P.A.S.S. Inc. receives the funds from the sponsorship.

Form of Payment
We accept cash, checks and money orders. Partial payments until paid in full will be accepted but be advised ALL monies are due by June 30th.

Return Checks
There will be at $25.00 service charge on each returned check. You will have five (5) business days to honor any returned checks. No child will be permitted to practice or play until the entire amount has been paid in full with cash or certified funds.

Refund Policy
The refund policy for P.A.S.S., Inc. will be strictly enforced. If a football player withdraws, the parent must notify the Registrar @ 770-597-8548 no later than July15th, 2007, at which time you will receive a 75% refund. After that date no refunds will be given. By signing the registration form you acknowledge that you understand P.A.S.S. Inc.’s refund policy.

Birth Certificates
All parents must provide the registrar with a copy of each child’s birth certificate. All birth certificates should be given to your child’s coach or team mom prior to
June 15th, 2007.



Formation of Teams
P.A.S.S. Inc. is a competitive program open to all skill levels. P.A.S.S., Inc. does not employ a mandatory playing time rule, though we do have a playing time policy.

Mandatory Fund-raiser
All parents are required to participate in fund-raisers. Parents may choose to Buy Out at a cost of $50.00. Fund-raisers are used to defray some of the cost for banquet, homecoming, etc.

The penalty for non-participation by parents will result in your child not receiving a participation trophy from P.A.S.S. Inc.

Picture Day
All team and individual pictures will be taken on TBA. All football players are to be fully dressed out in their uniforms. All players are to report at home field at their appointed times which will be given by their coaches at a later date.

Physicals
Each child is required to have a physical and submit a completed physical form. You can either take your child to his or her doctor or the can receive a physical at our home field for a minimal fee. The dates and cost will be determined at a later time. No child will be allowed to practice after July 15th 2007 without physicals – NO EXCEPTIONS

Banquet
A banquet will be held at the end of the season. The Team Mom and Board Rep. will be responsible for making all of the necessary arrangements. The Team Mom will provide you with all the details surrounding this event.

Practice and Game Schedule
Practice will begin on May 26th, 2007. Practice is held 4 days a week 6:30pm-8:30pm. Once school begins, practice will be only be three (3) days a week. Please try to have your child to practice on time. Please remember to be on time to pick up your child after practice. Each team will set its own time for practice no to last later than 8:30pm on school nights. Also, be mindful that if your child constantly misses practice sessions his playing time can be severely limited if the coach decides to allow him to play at all.



Player Certification
Each football player will have to attend the pre-season weigh-in and certification. On certification day, players will be labeled as “Heavy” players if they do not meet the weight requirements for their age groups. Heavy players will not be allowed to play any skilled positions in said age group. All players are allowed to play with their age group regardless of weight.

The league certification will be held Aug 14th2007. The times to weigh-in will be determined by   Your Team Mom will notify you of the date and time your child is scheduled for certification.

Parents please make the necessary arrangements so that your child does not miss certification. There will be no make-up dates. If your child misses or does not make certification, P.A.S.S. Inc. will not refund your money. You would need to provide your Team Mom with a legible copy of your child’s birth certificate for certification.

Family Participation
This is a family oriented organization! We encourage parent participation at all levels (except coaching!) Please do not use this time as a form of daycare. Your child strives to be the best at what he does, so parents you are urged to cheer your child on to victory at all games. Don’t allow your child to catch the winning ball, make an outstanding play or put forth his best skills and not see you in the stands. If you can’t be present for a particular game send a representative. This goes for all age groups because they all need to be encouraged.

Communication
Parents please make sure that you provide a telephone number that can receive calling post messages. This is the quickest and most efficient way to disseminate information. Please note if the phone number you provide is connected to an answering machine calling post will assume that it is speaking to a live person and therefore you will not receive the message therefore you may want to use your cell phone. Additional Information
Occasionally, the Mustangs (age groups 7-14) will travel to play in tournaments and to play other teams that are not in the metro area. Adequate time will be given regarding traveling preparation. More information regarding travel will be given at a later date.
