Football practice will begin on Monday, July 27th 6-8pm.   

Equipment handout will be in July - watch you mail or email for additional information and location details.

SUPER PEE WEE  Game Start:  10:30 AM

PEE WEE  Game Start:  12:00 Noon

WIDGET  Game Start:  Between 1:30 - 2:00 PM

JUNIOR  Game Start:  Between 3:00 - 3:30 PM

Coaches require their players/cheerleaders at the game field one (1) hour before game start.  This is a very important rule that pertains to organization and safety and must be followed.

Please remember this is a general guideline, not a hard-fast schedule.

PALOS LIGHTNING belongs to the Metro League.  Currently the league has the teams broken down into four divisions:

       SUPER PEE WEE ( Instructional ) - 8 years old and under, 85 lbs and under.

                         PEE WEE  - 9 and 10 year olds, 100 lbs and under.

                         WIDGET  -  11 and 12 year olds, 120 lbs and under.

                         JUNIOR  -  13 and 14 year olds, 150 lbs and under.

Each team plays an eight game schedule.  A 12-team playoff format takes place in the three weeks immediately following the season, ending with the Super Bowl on the final Sunday.
