Introduction

Welcome to the Palos Lightning Football & Cheerleading Organization!

Founded in 2002 as a non-profit youth sport program, we are here to provide the boys and girls with the opportunity to play organized football and cheerleading. Our organization focuses on the following communities:

Palos Hills, Palos Heights and Palos Park:

We also welcome children from other communities surrounding those listed. As a non-profit organization, we are relient on the registration fees, concession stand proceeds, fundraiser proceeds, sponsorships and donations to fund our program. Program funding is used to purchase various items and services to keep the program alive and well. All of the coaches, team moms/dads, comcession stand workers, field help, etc. are not compensated for their time. This is all VOLUNTEER.  As such, it is imperative that all parents involved be willing to make a commitment and take an active part to help with the various needs of the program.

Mission Statement

The Palos Lightning goal is to teach the fundamentals of football and cheerleading to prepare each child for their next level of play.

Along with learning the sport, we hope to instill traits that our children can apply towards life as: sportsmanship, teammwork, respect, value of education,

value of commitment, positive work ethics, positives attitude and setting and achieving goals . We do not believe in a "win at all costs" attitude, but we do

STRESS A WINNING ATTITUDE.

Special Thank you

A Special Thank you!!

We received a donation for the program last Tuesday evening and the family that had given it had asked to remain anonymous.

Angel and I reluctantly agreed.
In trying to find a loophole to this request,   I would like to thank the Ladewig Family for the type of support that has been
given to us over the last 7 years that has nothing to do with a monetary donation, so to say.
The Ladewigs’ have been with us every step of the way--- since our inception, in fact. Whether it’s a Pep Talk
on how much they believe in the Program and our place in the Community or some much needed ADVICE J,
it’s those words of encouragement that makes us “Get back in the Game” each season. To their Family
and SO MANY OF THE Moms and Dads that donate time in this program towards making wonderful memories for their children,
WE THANK YOU.
While it’s money that keep the bills paid, it still remains that a kind word feeds the soul!
Thank you again to those that make a difference!
Angel and Deborah Perez
