Outer Limits is a youth organization dedicated to teaching the skills of coed competitive baton twirling, dance poms, and flag and rifle twirling to children of all ages, even the young at heart. We compete at the local, regional and national level throughout the year as well as perform in local parades and special events within our community.
Each member also has the opportunity to compete in individual events of twirling, dance, pom, colorguard and modeling. Several of our members currently hold local, state and national individual titles. We are members of the Capital Area Marching Association and the National Baton Twirling Association.
Outer Limits is formed from a group called the Shooting Starz which also has competing teams on only the local level.
We are home to the 2007 C.A.M.A. Maryland State Team Champions in the Juvenile and Junior Pom Divisions, Pee Wee (Shooting Starz) and Junior Dance Twirl Division, and Junior Danceline.
5 out of 7 of our teams are State Champions in 2007. The Pee Wee Pom Team (Shooting Starz) finished 2nd and the Juvenile Dance Twirl finished 4th. These 2 teams made amazing improvements over the course of the season.
We are proud of all our girls for their hard work and determination!
