Thank you for visiting the Ottawa Tornadoes Youth football website. Here you can find updates on the league, stats, handouts,practice times, and games. This is to make our lives easier and to cut down on phone calls hopefully.
The Ottawa Tornadoes exists to promote and sponsor the LYF youth program of competitive grade tackle football combined with the teaching, training and supervision of the ideals of sportsmanship, teamwork and development of good character.
LYF is a game operated for the benefit of the children who play it. The adults come second, adapting to the realities of the children, rather than requiring the children to cope with the peculiarities of the adults. Ottawa Tornadoes Youth Football is a proud member of LYF.
Ottawa Tornadoes Youth Football is for players that range from 2nd thru 6th grade. Teams are divided into 4 different divisions. This is the second season for the Tornadoes. If you are looking for a youth sports program where the emphasis is on molding character and not just winning then Ottawa Tornadoes is the place for you. In order for the program to grow we need help from Ottawa and the surrounding communities. We are looking for some dedicated Head Coaches and parents. Our goal is to have a team for each division, so we are looking for 3 dedicated and responsible head coaches.
