The Lady Owls faced off with their favorite rivals on Wednesday night and dropped a hard fought match to Tawas, 2-1.  The Braves scored twice in the first half with a strong wind at their backs.  The Owls used the wind in the second half but did not manage to punch the ball in untiol the 78th minute when Tricia McDonald netted her fourth of the season by scooping up a fumble by the Tawas Keeper and booting it into the net.  Oscoda managed only four shots in the match.  Tawas scored in the ninth minute when Stephanie Glancy found "nothing but net" with a wind blown corner kick.  Tawas' second goal came thanks to a PK awarded after an unintentional handball call in the box.  Jordan Zimmer recieved that goal.

Oscoda Keeper, Nicole Jackson, stopped thirteen of the fifteen shots she faced.  The defense in front of her was led by Erika Nolff with 9 steals.  Krystin Inman and Margaret Negro were strong again picking up 7 and 9 intercepts each.  McDonald fought hard to keep the ball in the offensive zone, earning 6 steals in the match.

Oscoda fell to 1-2 overall and in NEMC play.  Tawas improved to 3-1 in NEMC and 3-2 overall.
