The Lady Owls faced Standish on their turf on Tuesday night, making up the match that got stormed out on Friday. The two teams struggled in high winds to a scoreless tie in regulation. Standish had nine shots on goal in the first half, with the wind at their backs. Oscoda went with the wind in the second and had ten shots on goal. Overtime started with Oscoda getting a great chance with a shot on goal but Standish rushed right back down on the Oscoda end. A scrum ensued with the ball bouncing off of many legs and bodies and when the dust cleared the Panthers had managed to put the ball in the net just three minutes into OT. Lacy Grzelak was credited with the goal.

Nicole Jackson had another fine match in goal for the Owls. Jackson stopped a total of 13 shots. Krystin Inman led the banged up Oscoda defense with 8 intercepts and 1 steal. Aubrey Thurston had 6 intercepts and 2 steals, followed by Jodie Astrom with 2 and 5.

Standish moved to 1-2 on the season and the Owls fell to 1-1 early on.
