Orono Thunder Soccer Field Locations
Orono's Soccer Fields are easy to find. All competitive games are played on the soccer fields around the Orono Schools on Old Crystal Bay Road in Orono. Getting there is easy:
From the intersection of interstates 394 and 494 go west on 394 (also HWY 12 West). Soon after the exit for HWY 15 West STAY IN THE RIGHT LANE and take the exit for Old HWY 12 / Wayzata Boulevard that takes you to Long Lake and Orono. CAUTION: THE LEFT LANE PUTS YOU ON THE WEST 12 BYPASS -- DO NOT TAKE THE WEST 12 BYPASS. THIS IS A NEW ROAD THAT MANY INTERNET BASED MAPS AND GPS SYSTEMS DO NOT YET RECOGNIZE. After exiting right onto Old HWY 12 / Wayzata Boulevard, proceed through the City of Long Lake to Old Crystal Bay Road. Old Crystal Bay Road is the fourth stoplight after exiting onto Old HWY 12 / Wayzata Boulevard. Turn Right onto Old Crystal Bay Road. All Orono Schools and fields are located on this road.
