Lady Renegades is a not-for-profit volunteer organization responsible for coordinating all youth competitive softball programs in Ormond Beach, Florida. The Lady Renegades is the competitive softball branch of the Ormond Beach Youth Baseball & Softball Organization (OBYBSA). OBYBSA is a not-for-profit volunteer organization responsible for coordinating all youth recreational and competitive baseball and softball programs in Ormond Beach, Florida. Head Coach Norman Perry led the Lady Renegades 18u Black team to a 1st place finish in the High School division of the annual NSA Shocktoberfest event held at the Ormond Beach Sports Complex.
Along with Head Coach Norman Perry, Assistant coaching staff Steve Williamson and Erin Holloway helped the team overcome a 0-2 record on Saturday, bouncing back with a 2-0 record on Sunday. As defending champions of the event, the team had a lot of pressure on them and they showed they were up to the challenge. We are still in need of additional players for the 12u team. April 18-19 We have alse been informed that the ISA will be holding an event at the Ormond Beach Sports Complex on June 6-7.
To help raise funds to support The Lady Renegades, we have started a cell phone recycling program. You can drop your used cell phones off at the concession stand (during hours of operation) located at the Softball Quads or contact Jim Cantrell via phone or email for more details. Our home fields are the Dale Buttleman Quads located at the Ormond Beach Sports Complex in Ormond Beach, Florida.
