  ANY unpaid fees (non-resident fees, candy, etc.) must be paid in full before equipment will be distributed!

There will be RaffleTickets on sale for the Football & Cheerleaders!!!  All money raised will pay for new equipment for the players as well as the Cheer competition!

We will also be selling tickets for the Windy City Thunderbolts game!!

You can also pick up Practice Jerseys & Cheerleading Practice Uniforms as they will be on sale!

 

CALLING ALL CHEERLEADERS!!!
 
We want you to attend the Carl Sandburg Summer Cheerleading Camp!
You can find the registration form on the Handouts page of our web site.
(Be sure to look for the highlighted section.)
 
The dates are Tue, Aug 4th & Wed, Aug 5th
from 9 am to Noon.
The cost is $50 and includes a T-shirt.
 
We will learn new cheers and stunts as well as a half time routine!
Which will really help us in competition this year!

Our Knight's bowling event had a nice turnout! Congratulations to the following kids who won a Bowling Pin Trophy and Candy:
Jr. Pee Wee ~ Andrew Schab
Pee Wee ~ Carlton Rutherford
Widget ~ Chris Drewry
Junior ~ Corey Ondras - who won a Gift Certificate from Jamba Juice and Candy
The Raffel Basket Winner was Angelique Debellis who is a Jr. Pee Wee Cheerleader.
All the bowling pin trophys were designed with:
ORLAND KNIGHTS 1ST PLACE ( DIV.) AND HAD CRAZY FACES ON THEM.
Each winner received a permanent marker so their friends could sign their trophy.

Football and Cheerleading

We are a 501(c)3 Registered Charitable Organization.

 

 

 

 

The Orland Knights Football and Cheerleading program has provided athletic and social opportunities for the youth of Orland Park and surrounding towns since 1981. Orland Knights are members of the Greater Chicagoland Youth Football Federation and play full contact, tackle football in the Metro Youth Football League.

 

Orland Knights' player development philosophy stresses good sportsmanship, mastery of football fundamentals, and teamwork. The goal is to win games, have fun, and guide the players toward becoming strong, ethical young men.


The Orland Knights Cheerleading program teaches girls the fundamentals of cheerleading, develops athleticism, and offer camaraderie with other young ladies.

 

Orland Knights Football and Cheerleading is a family oriented program that strongly encourages the active participation of immediate and extended family members.
