The Orillia Lakers is a local basketball organization whose mission is to operate and provide competitive and recreational basketball programs in Orillia that teach sportsmanship, that emphasize fair play and foster and promote respect for all concerned with basketball..

There is a House League organized that offers a combination of basketball practices with the opportunity to play basketball games each and every night they meet!

Session # 1, the Fall House League, is for children born in grade 3 or 4 and meets from 6:30 to 8:00pm on Thursdays at ODCVI (October - November)
Session # 2, the Winter House League, is for children in grade 5 or 6 and meets from 6:30 to 8:00pm on Thursdays at ODCVI (December - February)
Session # 3, the Spring House League, is for children in grade 5, 6, 7,or 8 and meets from 6:30 to 8:00pm on Thursdays at ODCVI (February - April)

The Orillia Youth Basketball Association also sponsors a number of Rep Teams that practice weekly and compete regularly and will eventually take part in the Provincial Championships in London or Ottawa, Ontario. Each team has its own webpage on which you can view the team's calendar of events, practices, games, as well as many other details about the team.
