Orange Little League: That's Awesome

Former Angel Darin Erstad visited the Orange Little League Fields on March 6th, 2010. Darin was a star baseball player at Nebraska and also a punter on Nebraska's State Championship Team. Darin was drafted by the California Angels with the number one pick in the 1995 baseball draft.

Darin is a 2x All-Star, 3x Gold Glove recipient, and won a Silver Slugger award. Darin is the only player to win the Gold Glove in the outfield and infield and the only player to win a Gold Glove at 3 different positions. Darin helped guide the Angels to their first ever World Series Championship in 2002. Darin tied the MLB record for hits in a single postseason with 25. He caught the final out of the World Series.
