Coach Carter, a Louisville native, signed at Eastern Kentucky University after his sophomore year at Lincoln Trail College in Robinson IL. He graduated with a BS degree; was a 2-time All-Ohio Valley Conference selection and was named OVC Player of the Year and an All-American in his senior season. He coached the Oldham Aces Jr Team during the initial 2006 season and the 2008 team that won the American Legion 3rd District and played in the State Tournament.
