COACHES
The commitment is great. The time, dedication, and perseverance that you will devote to your individual teams are tremendous. You are to be applauded for your courage and we thank you. But, more importantly is the effect you will have in the life of a child and each child's development should be foremost in your mind.

CONCESSION STAND
The Concession Stand is a major source of funds for OCYFL.
Each football team, is expected/required to provide TEN (10) ADULTS per "work period assignment". Though twelve (12) is the preferred number.
Each cheer team will usually have an assigned "work period". It is understood that the number of participants on a cheer team is usually less than that of a football team; the Concession Schedule as determined by the OCYFL is usually adjusted accordingly.
Is is important that all volunteers arrive at their appointed time.
A BOARD MEMBER familiar with the Concession process
will be there to assist and guide you. Please remember that your Head Coach- football or cheer- may be asked to report to the Concession Stand if the appropriate number of volunteers are not available.
Please see your Team Representative for details and to volunteer.
A schedule of volunteers must be turned in (by the Team Rep) to the Concession Manager prior to the first scheduled game.
Due to safety issues, children cannot accompany any adult in the Concession area.
OCYFL asks that while you are volunteering in the Concession area, please leave your purses, cameras and other personal items in a secure area--such as your own vehicle. Due to lack of space, the Concession Stand and its associated area cannot store these items--this includes "team" goodies such as cakes and cookies.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND UNDERSTANDING

SPOTTER
Each team is responsible for having one spotter per game. The spotter will sit in the press box with the official roster. Their main responsibility is to make sure players are recognized for their achievements over the loud speaker. Every child loves to hear their name, so be the one to make their day! Please note that spotters cannot cheer from the pressbox, it could incite the fans and other teams spotter. See your Team Representative to volunteer.
CHAIN GANG
If your team is the Visiting Team then your team will be responsible for Chain Gang. Three Chain Gang volunteers move the chains along the playing field. Yes, that's right... on the playing field. You will be up close and personal with the hard hitting action! Chain Gang volunteers cannot give coaches information on the spot of the ball or aid coaches in any way. Also, Chain Gang members cannot cheer, argue, or contest calls to the Officials. See your Team Mom today to volunteer.
FIRST & LAST GAME OF DAY DUTIES>
The teams with the FIRST game on Saturday ar responsible for getting their half of the field set up. Also these teams are responsible for getting the garbage cans out and in the appropriate places around the field. Be sure not forget the Water Jug for the players!
The teams with the LAST game on Saturday are responsible for taking down and putting away their half of the field. This includes the field markers, water and water table, emptying the garbage cans and being back to fieldhouse.
