Oklahoma Bandits: Welcome

Bartlesville, OK (January 22, 2009)- The 2009 Super Series National Champion Oklahoma Bandits finalized their 2010 Spring Roster that will include nine returning players from the 2009 Spring national championship squad. Returnees include Carson LaRue (P, IF) from Dewey, OK, Jake Cowan (C, P, IF) from Mangum, OK, Gabe Meidl (P, C, OF) from Bartlesville, OK, Chase Carver (P, C, OF) from Dewey, Kyle McKinney (OF, 1B) from Bartlesville, Wyatt Jordan (IF, C) from Collinsville, OK, Ryan Behar (P, C, OF) from Bartlesville, Colby Hinkle (P, 1B) from Copan, OK, Tristan Gagan (P, 3B) from Romona, OK.
The Bandits added Cory Holt (P, 1B, OF) from Newkirk, OK, Alex Barber (P, OF) from Tulsa, OK and Bryce Ward (P, IF) also from Tulsa for the 2009 fall season and will carry all three players into the spring season. The Bandits also added Tyler Culver (P, IF) from Pawhuska, OK to the roster this week. Ty will provide the Bandits with another quality arm, excellent fielding skills, above average speed and a solid bat. Ty played up as a 14U/15U with the Pawhuska Huskies the past two seasons and should be a player to watch for the 2010 squad.
The Oklahoma Bandits are a nationally ranked 14 and under USSSA, Super Series, CABA and Triple Crown tournament team with players from across Green Country. The Bandits currently have players on their roster from Bartlesville, Collinsville, Copan, Mangum, Pawhuska, Ramona and Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Bandits are a combined 148-23-5 over the past three seasons and were 43-6-2 in their 2009 campaign. The Bandits claimed the 2009 Oklahoma Super Series State Championship and the 2009 Super Series American West National Championship held in Woodland Park, CO.
