2012 Spring Recreation / Developmental League Information is Here

Oconee United Soccer Academy (OUSA) is proud to offer our fourth season of SPRING recreational / developmental soccer for ALL Oconee county youth players, ages 6 through 13.

Spring soccer? While our local recreation departments offer soccer in the Fall, we realize there are players who wish to continue to play in the Spring as well. So, OUSA in conjunction with other local soccer clubs will be offering a league for players from any area of Oconee County to play in during the Spring season.

What is recreational / developmental soccer? The league is recreational in that it is open to players of all skill levels who want to play. It will also be developmental as it will follow South Carolina Youth Soccer (SCYS) guidelines for youth players in small sided games and promote player development and growth.

There will be practices, on weekday evenings, throughout the season with games on Saturday mornings / afternoons. OUSA will also provide our Certified Professional Club coaches to aid regular volunteer coaches and players in their development.

The league will run from the end of January through the end of April and include approximately 25 practices and 8-10 games, ALL FOR OUR EARLY-BIRD REGISTRATION OF ONLY $110 (postmarked by December 15th). That’s only $3 per practice / game day and includes player’s uniforms and access to our paid professional coaches. Registration after December 15th until closing on January 15th is $130.

Player’s birthdates should be between August 1, 1999 and July 31, 2006 to match appropriate age groups. If you have any questions, or are interested in volunteering, please contact us at soccer@oconeeunited.com or you can call President Jessica Duke at 864-710-4634 or Vice President Danny Lynn Marcengill at 864-723-5307.
