Oakwood Raiders: Welcome

Welcome back to Oakwood Raider Basketball.

We are starting to prepare for the upcoming 2013-2014 season since winning the district championsip in February. We are very excited about entering two summer league teams in the Peoria Parks and Recreation League this summer. 

We completed a clinic recently for incoming 7th and 8th graders and have chosen 16 boys to participate in the league. They will be broken down into two teams of 8. We are hopeful that many of these young men will emerge from the summer league to help continue the strong Oakwood Basketball tradition on next year's team. Both teams have been placed in the 13-15 competitive age group league. It will be a very challenging summer for both teams.

There is a coaches meeting on May 20 and from that we will know our game schedule and practice schedule. When we get that information, it will be posted on this website.
