2009 FALL SEASONS
Registration for the Fall / Spring sessions has begun see below for details
Dates: Fall Session runs from mid September to Mid November\
Spring Season runs mid-March through early June 2009.
Days/Times: Sunday – Friday evenings between 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Schedule will vary depending upon age group. Practice schedules are at coaches’ discretion.
Location: Veteran’s Park Roller Hockey Rink, Narragansett Avenue, Ossining
Eligibility: Westchester residents, born between 1993- 2002 (7-16 yrs.) Children born in – 2003 - 2004 (5-6 yrs.) are eligible to attend weekly Mosquito skills clinics.
Fee: Single Season Only $75/first child per season $70 each additional
Full Year (Fall and Spring Seasons) $150 first child. $140 each additional
Late Fee A $25 late fee is required for registrations received after September 20, 2009 for the fall season
Scholarships are available
USA Hockey Inline: An additional $30.00 USA Hockey InLine excess insurance fee is required for all participants and is included in the full year price. This fee must be paid once annually and covers play from Sept 1st 2009 thru August 31st 2010.
Team jersey is provided; full equipment needed to play. (see website for details)

All registered players must register with USA Hockey Inline. Online at www.Usahockeyregistration.com. Be sure to register as member type "Inline (Roller Hockey Players, Coaches, Referees)
Registration can now be done two ways:
1. By Mail – Send completed forms and a check or money order to:

Registration forms can be picked up at Ossining Community Center or can be downloaded from the OYHA website at www.OYHAinfo.org. under “Documents and Forms” or use the Handouts link below.
2. In-Person – Saturday , September 12th, 10 AM to 12PM and Tuesday, September 15 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Ossining Community Center (95 Broadway, Ossining, NY 10562)– bring check, cash, or money order and a copy of birth certificate if a new player.

OYHA Varsity Booster Club sponsers ICE Hockey Clinic
Skaters and Players:
It's that time, ice hockey clinic. Some big changes. Please read entire message:
1. Clinic starts at WSA on Tuesday September 8 at 3:50 PM.
2. Reduced cost, the clinic fee is set at $325, including WSA in- house insurance. This cost will present twenty eight (28) , yes 28, on ice clinic appearances as indicated in item #2 below. Ice rental is more expensive than ever. However due to your participation in the journal, other fundraising efforts, and cost savings; spear-headed by Ernie Annibale, Jake Towers and Greg Kane, we have saved thousands and have reduced costs very significantly. Please bring a check payable to : OYHA Varsity Booster Club for $325. (please pay punctually, I can not track down payments for weeks as in the past, please have mercy on me)
3. 28 appearances you say. Yes. 16 at WSA , our clinic, which is what you are paying for with your $325.00, There is no reduction in cost if you choose not to attend the optional ice time at Harvey Rink. There are 12 optional ice slots at Harvey Rink which is the Yorktown clinic. (there may be a small additional insurance payment, I will let you know). We have teamed up with Bob Fritchie's Yorktown clinic to share ice. All skaters, Ossining and Yorktown, have the option of 4 ice clinics each week from September 8 until October 16. The last two (2) weeks of the respective clinics from Oct 20 to Oct 31 will not be shared.
4. Our clinic starts Tuesday September 8 at WSA at 3:50 PM to 5 PM. WSA times are Tuesdays at 3:50 to 5 PM and Saturdays from 8:40 to 10:20PM . ** In November, for the school season, there is a time change on Saturdays to 7:10 to 8:50 PM.
FYI - Harvey Rink, is the Yorktown home clinic ice. We do not contribute funding for their ice other than the possibility of a small insurance fee. Providing there are no logistical problems, the optional clinic for us at harvey is a go. Either Ossining or Yorktown has the option of ending the shared ice at any time. The Yorktown clinic starts on Wednesday September 9 and continues on Wednesdays and Fridays. I will get the exact times ASAP.
5. Modified players please talk up the clinic and program. There are some new skaters in the wings, lets get them involved.
