Out Burst Alumni
   Many Out Burst players have successfully entered college on softball scholarships and have since graduated:

• Sara Somogyi, '05 Resurrection HS, St. Joseph's College ‘09.  Sara has played with the Out Burst for eight years.  She is from the original team. Currently, Sara has graduated and is working in Wilmette School District. She is assistant coach for softball at Triton College in River Grove. She coaches the Out Burst 16U/18U team. She is also the main pitching instructor for the Out Burst and gives private instruction to many other players in the area.
• Nicole Saez, '05 Ridgewood HS, 3 years with The Out Burst, playing at Howard University.
• Maya Ripecky, '05 Northside Prep HS, 2 years with The Out Burst, playing at Tufts University
• Alejandra Ayala, '05 Schurz HS, 6 years with The Out Burst, playing at Kishwaukee College
• Jessica Allen, '05 Carmel HS, 2 years with The Out Burst, playing at Indiana State University
• Shawna McCreadie, '06 Elk Grove HS, 3 years with The Out Burst, playing at Wellesley College
