OU Week Two

Both OU teams took road trips on Sunday: OU-Crimson went to Tulsa and OU-White made the long trip out to Fayetteville to take on Arkansas.

OU-Crimson vs. Tulsa University

OU-Crimson went to Tulsa on Sunday and left with a 2-0 victory, despite having only a few subs due to everyone's busy schedule. The Sooners dominated the run of play in the first half but only had a few shots on goal and went in to halftime tied 0-0. OU opened the second half with an impressive display of possession and passing and scored a quick goal off the left foot of foward Nathan Barry to go up 1-0. The Sooners continued to control possession and soon added another goal when John Vittucci scored a rebound off of a shot from Corbin Campbell to put OU up 2-0. Alex Parker earned the shutout in goal behind a back line of John Krutty, Kyle Crockett, and Jacob Romig.

OU-White vs. University of Arkansas

OU-White traveled out to Fayetteville and suffered a 3-1 loss at the hand of the Razorbacks. Ali Munif scored a goal off of a rebounded penalty earned by Bastian Koll. This goal made the game 2-1 in the second half and, with the Sooners pushing for a goal late in the game, Arkansas added a final goal to finish the game 3-1. Nick "Nancy" Nance played well in goal for the Sooners.

Both OU teams are in action again this weekend, OU-Crimson plays at UCO on Saturday and at OSU for a Bedlam matchup on Sunday. OU-White plays at Tulsa on Saturday in what should be another competitive matchup.
