Big Weekend scheduled for Midget Cheer and Jr Midget Football
This weekend November 14-15, 2009 the Midget Cheer team will be heading to Poughkeepsie, N.Y. to compete in the Empire Classic event on Saturday and then on to Perkasie, Pennsylvania to cheer on the Jr Midget football team. The Jr Midget football team will be facing the Souderton (PA) Braves at 10:00am on Sunday in the Pennridge Bowl Classic. GOOD LUCK BOYS and GIRLS, make us proud!!!!

Oswego Pop Warner would like to send out a BIG THANK YOU to ALL who donated to the Midget Cheer and Jr Midget Football team to help cover travel expenses for their trip this weekend. The organization would also like to thank those of you that stopped just to talk or give a few kind words of support to the kids. THANKS AGAIN TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheerleaders Heading to Poughkeepsie
Our Midget cheer team is heading to the Empire Classic cheerleading competition on Saturday November 14th, 2009 @ the Mid Hudson Civic Center. The girls are scheduled to compete at 3pm, we wish tehem the BEST of luck!!!!! Go get em!!!!!

Jr Midget Football travelling to PA
Our Jr. Midget football team has been invited to play in the Pennridge classic bowl game. the team is travelling to Perkasie PA for a Sunday November 15th game. Best of luck to the team! They have competed well this year playing in the North division!!!!! OPW is proud of you all!

Banquet News
The 09 season ending banquet is in the planning stages, it is scheduled for Saturday December 19th time TBA at the Oswego Moose Lodge. Awards ceremony, food and a dance is in the making, hope all can attend.

Definetly a picture worth a thousand words and a VERY good example for ALL of us as coaches, parents and human beings! For those of you that do not know, Tiny Mites are ages 5,6 and some 7 year olds.

Mouthguards
When purchasing mouthguards for the 2009 season be sure that they are not clear & are able to attach to the face mask. Pop Warner rules state that they cannot be clear & MUST be attachable so that the referees can see them and are assured that the football players are wearing them. Thanks!
PROTOCOL
problems, questions or concerns.
If you have a problem with a coach first try to resolve the problem with the Head coach of the team. Sometime problems occur and it is just a communication issue.
If problem cannot be resolved you must First go to the appropriate coordinator (Football or Cheerleading).
Complaints are to be put in writing and NOT Anonymous, you MUST include your name and contact information.
Any Problem a coordinator cannot handle will then be taken to the President by the coordinator.
Any problem the President cannot resolve, He/She will ask for help from the CNYPW Executive board. ONLY THE PRESIDENT OR THEIR DESIGNEE ARE TO CONTACT CNYPW WITH A PROBLEM OR CONCERN REGARDING OPW.
NO PETS ALLOWED AT ANY POP WARNER FOOTBALL FIELD
There are no animals allowed to be brought to any games, PLEASE leave your dogs at home
