Monday, April 7 Raiders 6 - Cross Creek Cougars 2 Raiders split 1st 2 games of 2008 Spring Break Diamond Classic Tournament. Raiders fall 3-2 in very well played game vs the Bradford HS team. Raiders bounce back today for 6-2 victory over the Cross Creek Cougars. Final Game of tournament will be on Wednesday 4/9/2008 at 6:00pm opponent is Fernandina Beach HS Pirates at FBHS Field.

Thursday, April 10 Raiders 2 - Fletcher Senators 1
On 2008 Senior Recognition night, the Orange Park HS Baseball Raiders defeat the Fletcher HS Senators 2-1. Junior Chris Geiger pitches 7 masterful innings, allowing a run in the 1st and holding the hi-powered Senators the rest of the way. The Raiders turned 3 double plays as Chris Geiger kept wiggling out of trouble the entire game. Senior Tony Voiro scored the go-ahead run in the bottom of the 6th. Senior Ben Feria threw out a runner stealing 3rd to seal the victory in the top of the 7th

Friday, April 11 Fletcher HS Senators 12 - Orange Park HS Raiders 8
In a knock down drag out battle the Fletcher Senators earn a 12-8 victory over the Orange Park Raiders. Orange Park led by Derrick Davis 2 run Home Run , Chris Geiger 2 doubles and Josh Benda's 2 run double. The Raiders couldn't hang on against the determined Senators. more to come.
Tuesday, April 15 St. Johns River Conference Championships
Menendez Falcons and Nease HS are 0-2 and will play on Wednesday at 4:00pm for 7th place Orange Park Raiders and Palatka HS are 1-1 and will meet Wednesday at 7:00pm for 5th place St. Augustine Yellow Jackets and Bartram Trail Bears are 1-1 and will meet on Thursday at 4:00pm for 3rd place Middleburg Broncos and Fleming Island Eagles are 2-0 and will meet on Thursday at 7:00 pm - Championship game. In first game at 4:00pm Bartram Trail Bears 15 - St. Augustine Yellow Jackets 9 . In the Championship game at 7:00pm in front of a capacity crowd at the baseball grounds of Orange Park HS. the Middleburg Broncos 5 - Fleming Island Eagles 2 Senior Brian Leino leads the Broncos driving in all 5 runs with a 2 run homer and a 3 run double. Congrats to all teams.
