Both games with UC were cancelled - they don't have a JV this year.

We lost to Creekside 10-3.

We gave up 7 runs in the 7th inning to lose that one. It wasn't pretty We were flat at the end.

We lost 6-5 to the 'burg. We had them going in the bottom of the 7th and we let them get away.

We lost to Fletcher 10-0.

We lost to Clay 6-3.

We beat Fleming Island 5-3.

Adam Geoghagan, Kenny Jimenez, and Michael Benda have been pitching well.

MJ Gibbs, Kevin Angell, and Josh Hart have been doing well at the plate.

We won last week at Menendez 9-2. We were ahead from the start.

Hit well and ran the bases very well. They backed their entire outfield up to varsity distances because we were hitting so well.

Friday we whipped Ridgeview 17-8. We gave up some unearned runs, but kept the pressure on and ran very well again. Kevin Angell hit a triple off the left field fence. It turns out Hilken broke his hand sliding into second, but played the rest of the game with the broken bone anyway.

Last evening we got behind 4-0 early then battled back to 5-4 in the 6th and scored 4 in the top of the 7th. Angell had another triple here as we out hit the Fernandina crew 11-5, and beat them 8 to 5 after Pilsbury shut them down in the 7th. We played pretty good defense, pitchers are starting to hit their spots, and our hitting has carried us.
