OneGloucester is a movement and an organization created by members of the Gloucester community. We are committed to ensuring the future success of our young people by helping to improve Gloucester’s education system and by preserving the history, tradition and culture that make the City of Gloucester, Massachusetts, a wonderful place. We encourage all current and former members of the Gloucester community to join with us and get involved!
We believe the public education system in Gloucester is slowly corroding, largely due to a lack of funding. This is threatening the future of Gloucester’s young people and the community as a whole. If we do not act now, who will lead our community when those who are now students become Gloucester's adults?
As members of Gloucester’s vibrant community, we all need to get involved with OneGloucester to create the change that is needed to address the current crisis facing Gloucester’s schools. The cost of failure is too great. As a community of more than 30,000 people from all walks of life, let's ALL get involved in the decision-making that is affecting us, the people of Gloucester. Bring your skills, ideas, creativity, knowledge, passion and love for Gloucester to join us at OneGloucester -- and get involved with us today!
