The OC HAWKS have put together an elite program of fastpitch softball experts who will take our players to the highest level.
Our coach is Nina Lindenberg, a two time All American, Pan American
Games Gold Medal winner, WAC Player of the Year and former professional
fastpitch All Star. Nina was a 7-time member of the USA National team and teaches our players how to play the U.S. Olympic team way.
Among Nina's numerous accomplishments are:
- USA Softball National Team Member (1995, 1997,1998,1999,2001,2002, 2003)
- Junior World I.S.F (International Softball Federation) gold medalist (1995)
- I.S.F.(International Softball Federation) World Championships gold medalist(1998, 2002)...both gold medals qualified the United States number one seed for the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games
- Japan Cup Champions (2002, 2003) US Cup Champions (2001,2002,2003)
Canada Cup Champions (1998, 1999, 2002, 2003)
- Pan American Qualifier gold medalist (1997,2001) Pan American Games gold medalist (2003)
Our Defensive Skills Coach is Howard Kobata,- the pre-eminent fielding coach in the nation.

Strength/Agility/Speed Coaching features Weekly team sessions at the state-of-the-art
Velocity Sports Performance Center in Orange to help make you faster,
stronger, and more explosive.
Top level competition: We are one of 9 California teams that will play
this summer in the Triple Crown Sparkler -- the largest girls fastpitch
tournament in the world that attracts college coaches from around the
nation.
Our 2008 schedule is loaded with elite events with ASA, USSSA and Triple Crown.
We have already committed to:
ASA State Championship
Triple Crown Sparkler
ASA Nationals Qualifer
We have four spots open for serious softball players who are looking to eventually compete at the college level.
More importantly, you'll learn the life long values of integrity, respect for individuals, life long learning, contribution to the team and community service.
This team is being built for a 3-year commitment with plans to go to 18Us when we reach that point.
We'll carry only 13 players. That means pitchers must have a second position and everyone gets lots of playing time.
We'll also respect you. Our expectations are high - 100% hustle and effort - that's all we can ask of any player.
