The Olney Central Blue Knights opened up 2011 conference play with 2 wins over Southeastern Illinois. The wins moved the Blue Knights to 21-5 and 2-0 in GRAC play. Currently ranked 25th in the nation, Olney Central will play 2 at home against SIC on Sunday, March 27. For Stats please visit njcaa.org.
Wednesday, February 23
The Olney Central Blue Knight Baseball team opened up their 2011 Spring Season 6-1. They opened up with a double-header at the University of the Cumberlands against there Junior Varsity in Williamsburg, KY. OCC won the first game 7-2 and the following game 7-3.
The Blue Knights traveled further south to Harriman, TN for the next part of the road trip. The Blue Knights took the opening game 10-7, lost the 2nd game 14-10, and won the rubber game 13-5.
The final day of the road trip was played at Union College against there Junior Varsity in Barbourville, KY. The Blue Knight baseball team won a double-header 11-0 and 8-2. OCC went 6-1 on the trip.

The Olney Central Blue Knights had 2 pitchers taken in the 2010 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft. Current Blue Knight Jerad Eickhoff was selected in the 46th round by the Cubs, 1390th pick overall. After a very successful freshman campaign, Jerad will be coming back to Olney for his sophomore year. Former Blue Knight Nick Graffeo, who was a senior at University of Alabama-Birmingham, was selected in the 38th round bye the Royals, 1139th pick overall. Nick signed a professional contract with the Royals and will be starting out the summer in Idaho. Congratulations to both players.
