Summer Camp at the High School

Take advantage of our local high school soccer coaches!  They are bringing several camps to Oak Forest High School kids.  Registration is Monday, May 13 or you can mail in the registration and payment, or drop off at the office.  Go to www.bhsd228.com for the athletics section and print out the form.

Camp 17:  Boys soccer.  Grades 2-8, 9-11 am. July 16-20.  $40

Camp 18:  Boys soccer.  Grades 9-12.  12-2 pm, July 16-20.  $50

Camp 19:  Girls soccer, Grades 6-12.  1:30-4 pm, June 17-21.  $30

 

Other camps are also available, like running, track, football, and tennis (and more).  Check out the high school website for more info.

Summer Camp Prize Drawing: Deadline June 2nd

Attention:  If you are thinking about registering for the Chicago Fire Summer Camp in July, now is the time to do it!  Chicago Fire and YES Soccer have an incentive to sign up early for their camps.  Early registrants will be placed in a drawing for a chance to win one of three prizes:  

1st Prize:  Win 16 tickets to see a Chicago Fire game in a private suite, with game ball and signed jersey

2nd Prize:   Win tickets to a game with premium seats, with signed jersey.

3rd Prize:  Signed game-worn jersey

Soccer Picnic Recap

The picnic was a success!  Challenger Soccer Camp gathered enough attendees to hold their camp the following week.  The food was great, and the water slide wet.

Monday, July 16
Need your trophy?!?!?



Most players got their trophies at the annual Soccer Picnic, held July 15th.  If you were out of town or otherwise unable to make it, I have good news!  The trophies are stored at the main park district building, 15601 S. Central.  If you go during normal business hours, 9-5, the ladies at the front desk will help you.  If you go after that, the personnel at the fitness center desk will search for the trophies.
