Northwest Girls Softball Fall 2012 Registrations
  
All registrations will take place at Power Alley Batting Cages, 4035 N Rancho Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89130.
Registration fee for the 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16/18U divisions is $140 for the first player and sibling discounts (second child is $110, third child is $80) then apply.  Registration fee for the 6U division is $100.  Early bird special is $10 off each registration.  An additional $5 will be taken off each registration for any gently used softball equipment donated when signing up for the Fall season.  There is no online registration available.  6U players and any players entering the draft may also register on the night of the scheduled player assessment for their division.  Credit and debit cards (Visa, MC, and Discover) will be accepted at the registration dates, but not at the night of the player assessments.  Players who wish to remain with their team must register in advance at a registration date listed below.
  
Player Registrations
EARLY BIRD REGISTRATIONS: Tuesday, June 26th - 6pm-9pm, and Tuesday, July 10th - 6pm-9pm
OTHER DATES: Tuesday, July 31st - 6pm-9pm; Saturday, August 4th - 10am-2pm; Tuesday, August 7th - 6pm-9pm; Saturday, August 11th - 10am-2pm
  
Player Assessments (all at Majestic Park, fields 1-3)
Wednesday, August 15th - 8U and 10U divisions; Thursday, August 16th - 12U and 14U divisions
  
Fall 2012 Drafts 
Saturday, August 18th - times to be determined

Congratulations to the following players for being selected as the NWGS Players of the Week for April 30th - May 6th!
Winners can stop by the umpire room to pick up a NWGS Player of the Week T-shirt when any Executive Board member is present.
    
6U - Delaney Raetz, Lil’ Dirtbags: Delaney had three hits off coach pitch this week, including a double. She also had three putouts playing first base. Incredible effort, Delaney!
   
8U - Rilee Read, Pink Ladies: In leading her team to a NWGS playoff championship, Rilee had three singles, a home run, two walks, five steals, two runs and an RBI. She also caught three innings and recorded two assisted outs from first base. All-around great stuff, Rilee!
   
10C - Samantha Orta, Smash: In leading her team to a NWGS playoff championship, Samantha was 4-for-5 from her leadoff spot, walking twice, scoring five runs and stealing nine bases. She also played a terrific second base. Awesome stuff, Sammie!
  
10B - Bridget Graney, Desert Ice: In leading her team to a NWGS playoff championship, Bridget hit .714 over three games with a double, four runs, a sacrifice and two RBIs. She also had 20 putouts at first base in as many chances, including turning a double play on Thursday. Way to go, Bridget!
  
12B - Lauren Beatty, Pink Ladies: In leading her team to a NWGS playoff championship, Lauren pitched 13 innings this week, striking out 13. She also had five singles, two doubles, three RBIs and scored six runs. Fantastic week, Lauren!
  
12C - Sydney Carnival, Pink Ladies: In leading her team to a NWGS playoff championship, Sydney went 6-for-8 with two triples and a walk. She stole five bases and scored five runs. Super stuff, Sydney!
 
14U - Jordyn Solis, Team Intensity:  In leading her team to a NWGS playoff championship, Jordyn had four hits, including a double. She also walked three times and scored seven runs. Defensively, she was involved in a game-ending double play in the championship game. Great week, Jordyn!
