Are there any discounts offered?


Yes. For our middle school day camps, you can boost your development by signing up for multiple sessions and taking advantage of the two session discount.



Our high school skills camp cost is reduced for team or groups of eight or more campers.

Can Teams attend?


Yes. You can attend with your team to get a competitive edge for your season. You will train, practice, and compete together to build team unity and cohesion. Plus, if you sign up as a team, you will take advantage of of our team discount.

What is the camp refund policy?


All camps require a non-refundable $100 deposit. Refunds, less deposit, are available until two weeks prior to the start of camp.

What forms are required in order for my child to participate?


The medical history and waiver form is required, as well as a copy of current insurance cards in order to participate in camp.

What items should my child bring to camp?


Over night campers should bring:

  • Blanket, and pillow (linens are provided)

  • Fan

  • Towels, washcloths and soap

  • Personal toiletries and alarm clock

  • Plenty of comfortable shorts and t-shirts

  • Socks and playing shoes (wear court shoes that are already broken in; with such intensive training in a short period of time, new shoes can cause blisters.)

  • Knee pads

  • Spending money (camp store, souvenirs, pizza, concessions)

  • Swimsuit and casual clothes for the dorm and time at the beach


Campers who Registered by Check

: Campers who have paid the deposit by check must bring the remaining balance due at check-in. Parents: If you are unsure of the amount due, please contact Karen Sonders  at nuvolleyballcamps@northwestern.edu.

Where and when is check in?


For Middle School Camp Session 1: Registration is located in the Welsh Ryan Field house, which is located in the Welsh Ryan Arena, 1501 Central St. Evanston, IL 60208. There is free street parking on Ashland Ave, and you can follow the service drive ("Walker Way") to the Arena. The Arena is located just north of the football stadium, past the weight room which is on your left. You can enter through the front doors and follow either side hallway to the back of the arena to our field house.
Registration starts at 9:00 am on the first day of camp, and pick up is at 3:00 pm each day.



For Middle School Session 2: Registration is located in the Patten Gymnasium, which is located at 2407 Sheridan Rd., Evanston, IL 60208. There is free street parking on Lincoln St., as well as surrounding residential streets. Patten is located on the southeast corner of Lincoln St. and Sheridan Rd. You can enter through the front doors and proceed to the registration desk.
Registration starts at 9:00 am on the first day of camp, and pick up is at 3:00 pm each day.

For High School Skills Camp: The high school registration site is 2245 Sheridan Rd. (Note: this address is misleading because there is no direct access from Sheridan Rd. Please CLICK HERE for map and directions). This is the entrance to Sargent Hall, which is the residence hall where all campers will be staying. From Sheridan Rd. head East onto Lincoln St. and follow as it curves and turns into Campus Drive. You can park in lot 105 during registration hours. Registration is located in front of Sargent Hall, which is building 113 on the provided map.

What meals are provided?


There are no meals provided for Middle School Camps. For the High School Skills Camp: lunch and dinner, starting with dinner on July 22nd are included for all campers. For overnight campers, breakfast is included as well from the 22nd through the 25th.

What is a typical day like?


Middle School camp will start at 9am and campers will take part in a morning and afternoon session with a break for lunch in between.



High School Skill camp runs with three sessions a day with lunch and dinner in between.



All campers will have opportunites to explore the campus and also take trips to the beach on Lake Michigan as well as play beach volleyball.

Is there a medical staff at camp?


Yes. Our camps will have a certified athletic trainer at every facility site in the camp. If a camper has known special needs (ie. needs ankle taping, etc.) please bring with you the appropriate materials.
