Be a model of good sportsmanship! Treat the sport, it's rules, your coaches, your teammates, and your opponents with respect.
The American Athletics softball organization is proud to announce our dedication to the development and success of young student athletes. Our organization is composed of several teams competing at various levels with a common goal of playing softball at the highest possible level. The Northwest American Athletics is part of the AA's family from Southern California.
We are an all-volunteer, non-profit fastpitch softball organization whose purpose is to provide and perpetuate a competitive program for young girls which stresses self-responsibility, citizenship, sportsmanship, team work and friendship. Our general purpose, past, present and future, is to give an opportunity for the development of girls physically, mentally and socially, using softball as a vehicle. Our organization emphasizes hard work, commitment and dedication both athletically and academically. We equip our athletes with the skills necessary to become contributing citizens of our community. In addition, we are also committed to providing for the future of each player with opportunities necessary to obtain college scholarships. We are an organization that strives to positively impact the lives of young girls and to represent our community in a positive manner.
The American Athletics Girls Fastpitch Softball Club was founded by Jim Bollinger in 1994 and is predicated on showcasing the exceptional talent of fundamentally sound student athletes in Southern California and now Spokane, Washington and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho to colleges nationwide.
We are very much looking forward to the 2010 season with some positive and exciting changes. Some of our 14U girls are moving up to 16U and this has created some openings for new players who want to be challenged and compete at the highest level of play possible. We will be taking the winter off but will resume practice in January or February. If you want to be contacted with tryout information please email us at dbsuer@msn.com for updates. As always, all positions are open for tryouts.
