Our First parent meeting will be on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at the club president's residency (Kela Miller).  Her home is located next to the new parking lot by L&L.  The meeting will start at 7:00p.m. so please be prompt.  For those of you who are newcomers, please bring a copy of your birth certificate.

Also, first payment of $200 is due this Friday, December 11, 2009.

Got home late last night and got an email from the region.  Tournament has been canceled again due to miscommunication with the Maui teams.  Please check your email and read the letter from the region.  See you at the referee clinic!

Good luck to Lama Tito and Nile Te'o who will be competing in the Samoa Bowl in American Samoa.  Go and represent us all!!!

We will be running mini-tournaments at Kahuku High School Gymnasium to help with fundraising for the 18's team.   Coach Irwin's 18's team will be taking their first trip to Denver, Colorado to compete in the Junior National Qualifiers -Crossroad tournament. 

The first dates we are looking at are December 20 & 30, 2008.   All tournaments will include different age groups.  We are looking at:

December 20, 2008 - 14's division tournament.

December 30, 2008 - 16's division tournament.

Our club is set up to attend a mandatory referee clinic on Saturday, February 14, 2009 @ Farrington High School from 11:00a.m. - 1:00p.m.  Please do not make any plans for that day, it is very important that you attend this clinic.  

When attending the clinic, please bring something to write with (pen/pencil) and some paper for notetaking.

A bus will be provided by the club to transport everyone to Farrington and back.  The pickup place and time is as follow:

Place:    Laie Shopping Center (wait by HRI)

Time: 9:45am  (Be there by 9:30am)

Parents can pick you up at the shopping center by 2:00pm

All club practices on Thursday, 4/23/09 will be canceled due to flash flood warnings, last minute illnesses, and family emergencies.  Practice will resume on Monday, 4/27/09.   Thank you and have a nice a safe weekend.

Yes...It's party time!  We will be having a club party to end our 2008-2009 season.  It will be held at Kakela Beach Park from 3:00p.m. - 6:00p.m.  Food assignments were emailed to everyone.   A gift for each club member will be given at the party...no show...no gift.  Email coach Mona if you cannot make the party so that I could hold your gift and re-assign your food assignment.

We will begin club season soon so stay tune for upcoming announcements! 

November 16, 2009 will be the first day for North Shore VBC.  We will be practicing on the Kahuku Elementary grounds from 3:00 - 5:00p.m.  If we do find another site, we will let you know asap.

Paperwork (medical/waiver) and fees ($15) need to be paid before you participate.  Shoes and kneepads are mandatory.
