Welcome to the home of The North Shore Cougars, where dedication, teaching and good sportsmanship are the keys to our success. We are an independent dedicated youth baseball organization competing at the 15u level for 2010. In 2005, we completed the little league level, and began our journey into travel baseball. Our mission is to teach each player how to compete at the highest level beginning with the fundamentals. As we progress, each individual learns how to win with class, and handle defeat in the same manner. The Cougars have participated in various local leagues such as, Baseball Heaven, NJBL, FABL,PAL/BOS,and Brookhaven Town and have enjoyed great success. We also have played in numerous local tournaments, as well as participating at Ripken in 2007 where we finished third. In 2008 we traveled to Delaware and finished 3-2-1 and won the consolation championship.
Winter training will begin January 2010 on Wednesday nights from 7-9pm at the FJC school in Rocky Point.A start date will be up mid December.
We have a few spots available for the 2010 season.Pitcher, Catcher, Outfield. If you are interested in joining the Cougars, please contact us at mpic@optonline.net or 631 987-8843. Tryouts will begin in early January.
In a continuous effort to give our players the best opportunity to experience baseball at its highest level, and to offer them unlimited resources, we are looking to you for sponsorship. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor please contact us either through email or 631 987-8843. With your support, it will allow us to grow as an organization, and be able to supply the kids with not only uniforms, equipment etc., but will also help with the growing costs of local and out of state tournaments. In advance i thank you for your consideration and support.
