U.S ARMY-Football University All American Bowl

The PYFL and the North Oxnard Warriors are proud and excited to have not one but THREE players selected as U.S. Army Youth All-Americans. WR Davonte Nunnery, QB Brandon Dawkins, and RB Chris Davis were selected from more than 4,000 nominees as three of the 44 eighth graders from 35. The game will played on 1/10/10 and broadcast live on the internet at http://www.allamericangames.tv/fbyouth

2009 Senior All-Star Game South 24 - North 22
The South stopped the North at the 3 yard line as time expired to preserve a 24-22 victory in the 2009 Senior All-Star game at Calabasas High School.
Results from friendship games:
Pee Wee- Thousand Oaks: 28, Lancaster Jets: 16
Bantam- North Oxnard Gray: 40, Lancaster Jets: 0
Midget- North Oxnard Red: 26, West Valley Rebels: 6
Junior- Calabasas Black: 24, Lancaster Jets: 28

2009 PYFL Super Bowl XVII Results:

The North Oxnard Warriors dominated the  day Saturday at Newbury Park high school bringing home two PYFL Super Bowl Championships. In the Midget division, North Oxnard Red defeated the SCV Warriors 28-8. In the Senior Division, North Oxnard Red defeated SCV Seminoles 62-48. The North Oxnard Black team lost to SCV Warriors 16-6 in the Bantam division. It has been ten years since the last time the Warriors won two Super Bowl in the same year. Congratulations to all the Warrior teams for a great season. Thank you to all the families, friends and fans who came out and showed their support. We could not have done this without you. We look forward to another exciting season in 2010. Go Warriors!!!

2009 PYFL Senior All Star Game
This year the PYFL will host a Senior All Star game at Calabasas High School on Dec. 12 at 6:30 PM. We have 15 Seniors from the Warriors that will represent the North Division.
2009 PYFL BOWL GAMES:
Bantam Gray and Midget Red will play the Super Bowl Champions from the Golden Valley Youth Football league at Calabasas Dec. 12. Please come out and show your support.

In Memory of Coach Rick "Ricky" Madrid

On Friday, December 26th, Assistant Coach Rick Madrid passed away unexpectedly. He is survived by his wife Lorie Madrid and their two sons, Ricky and Jared. The North Oxnard Warrior family wish to express our deepest condolences to Rick's family and we ask that you keep the Madrid family in your thoughts and prayers at this time. In lieu of sending flowers a trust fund is being established for Ricky's two boys. Trust has been sent up at: Rabobank, 155 South 'A' Street, Oxnard CA 93030 - Under Jarid & Ricky Madrid
