| Please remember to show respect to the umpires on and off the field. They are volunteers and it is because of their love of the game they give their time to little league. Without them we all know just how difficult a game would be. Each year they give of themselves and would love to have others step up to learn this valuable role. If this is something you have been thinking about and want to learn more, contact Bob Harnes and he will gladly answer any questions you may have. His number is 425-330-9417. | Please remember to show respect to all the volunteers you see working at little league. From the team managers and coaches, the people working in concession, the player agent, league president and vice presidents, the person doing game scheduling to those keeping the book during games. All these plus so many more are NEVER paid to do these jobs. It is NOT acceptable to speak harshly about the work they are doing as they are doing it to the best of their ability. If you would like to join the team of volunteers please contact our league president. We must ALWAYS remember little league is about the children and NOT about ourselves. Show respect and be an example for the many eyes that are watching your lead. | ||||
