425 Thorme Street Bridgeport, CT 06606 January 21, 2009 Dear Prospective Sponsor: Please accept our invitation to speak with us about exciting opportunities to work with you from the city of Bridgeports North End Little League. Enclosed you will find our 2009 Sponsor Application along with copies of our NELL Newsletter, pictures of some of our teams with their Sponsor and a sample of our Sponsor Web Page from our NELL website. We have had over 50 years of instructional, competitive and exciting baseball for a very culturally and socio economically diverse population of youth. Our league currently runs from April through October with a regular season of baseball, playoffs, all-stars and a fall league. Our youth range in ages from five to sixteen. The NELL is very much in need of additional team and league sponsors. Our current request is for $450.00 to sponsor one of our teams. League Sponsors range from $30.00 - $1200.00. NELL will accept any amount for a donation to help keep city kids active in sports. Your contributions to NELL are tax deductible. We are an all-volunteer league with no paid employees. There are various items we are in need of including updating our concession stand and league office, purchasing safety fence caps for our fencing, updating our bleach seating with safety fencing and purchasing new equipment for our players. We are also bringing back our, Sponsor Book where families and sponsors can place ads that will be distributed to every child in our league. Thats over 400 children and families that will have access to your ad. To make your ad even more enticing, we are suggesting that you include some type of discount for NELL families for your business so they can come in with their Sponsor Book to your business. It is our hope to attract as many community organizations and business leaders to this wonderful community attraction we call NELL.
