These players were nominated by their respective coaches and then voted in by all the other head coaches in the league. Coach of the Year was determined by votes from the coach's peers. Sincerest congratulations to the following head coach and players in our league! Each winner will receive a plaque sponsored by the Cleveland Hockey Booster Club, which will be presented at the playoff game on Saturday, 02/07/09.

Scoring Leader - Brad Ahbe (Jackson) - 14 goals/17 assists (31 points) in league games

Best Goalie - Cody Maier (Medina) 

Best Defenseman - Brooks Bukowy (Archbishop Hoban)

Ever wonder what some of the former NCHSHL players are doing now that they have graduated?

*Kent Charnley (Medina '07) - Kent is playing junior hockey for the Grand Rapids Owls of the CSHL. He was invited to the tryout camp of the Battle Creek Revolution, a professional team in the All-American Hockey Association. He is majoring in finance.  

*Kevin Hauser (Medina '05) - Kevin is playing for the University of Toledo and majoring in Recreational Therapy.

*R.J. Peterson (Medina '07) - R.J. is playing at Arizona State University and majoring in Biochemistry.

*Elliott Spaudie (Medina '08) - Elliott is playing for the Concordia University-Wisconsin Varsity Hockey Team. He is majoring in Pharmacy.

*Tim Becka (North Royalton '08) - Tim is playing club hockey at Xavier University and majoring in Business.

*Steve Hruby (North Royalton '08) - Steve is playing for John Carroll University, an ACHA D1 club team. He is majoring in accounting.

*Steve Wilson (Riverside '07) - Steve is a sophomore at OSU in the Mechanical Engineering Honors Program and is playing intermodal hockey.

Robert Stolz (Riverside '08) - Robert is playing varsity hockey for Wesleyan University (Connecticut) and is majoring in chemistry.

*Matt Furlong (Rocky River '08) - Matt is playing club hockey at the University of Akron. He is studying fire fighting/investigation and EMT.
