 ****NORTH BERGEN 10U MEMORIAL WEEKEND TOURNAMENT****

RUL ES: Little League Tournament and/or Regular Season Rules will be Followed with the following exception:

*HOME AND AWAY - Round Robin Play - Coin Flip, Championship Game - Team with Best Record chooses

PITCHING
- 6 INNINGS Total for Round Robin (pitch count DOES NOT apply)
- No Pitcher/Catcher Rule

Championship Game
- Innings Reset
- Pitcher cannot pitch more than 3 innings

PLAYERS
- Player must participate 3 out of the 4 Round Robin Games

- Rosters are unlimited

- there is NO required playing time for each game.  You manage the players as you wish.

BATTING ORDER
- Only 9 players can bat (no EH)

COURTESY RUNNER
- Courtesy Runner is Allowed for the Catcher with 2 outs and must be the last batter out

EXTRA INNINGS

- 1 (one) extra inning only in Round Robin Games
- Championship Game there is no limit

Tie Breaker   

1J. Standings Tie Breaker (added 06/12/09)

 

1 -  Head to Head

 

2 -  Least Runs given up against the team(s) you are tied with

 

3 -  Better division record

 

4 -  Which team beat the best team (record wise)

 

                  4a- division first then league wise

 

5 - Least runs allowed in division

 

6 - Least runs allowed in all games

 

7 - Coin toss

 

****SARAH SPENCER MEMORIAL 8 YEAR OLD TOURNAMENT****

RUL ES: Little League Tournament and/or Regular Season Rules will be Followed with the following exception:
 

*HOME AND AWAY - Round Robin Play is a coin flip, Championship Game - Team with Best Record chooses

1-All Players must be Little League 8 Year Old Eligible
2 – All players must be officially registered with each league’s charter to be eligible
3 – STEALING – No stealing of home, only 2nd and 3rd
4 – Pitcher’s Mound will be 41 feet
5 – Pitch Count – maximum 60 per game per pitcher
        5a.  21 or More pitches require 1(one) day rest
6 – INFIELD FLY RULE – Does not apply
7 – 9 Players on the field Only
8 – Must use Continuous Batting Order, ie: you bring 14 players all 14 must be in the batting order
9 – 1 (one) base on an overthrow
10 – 10 Run Rule Applies
11 – 5 Run Rule – Once a team has scored its 5th run the inning is over.  Any runs score after the 5th run as a result of a hit does not                                                                 count. EXCEPTION:  In the last inning only defined as the 6th inning and beyond or the last inning declared by the umpire, 5 Run Rule DOES NOT APPLY
12 – TIME LIMIT – 2 hour time limit, No new inning shall start after 1 hour and 45 minutes
13 – Courtesy Runner – ONLY for the catcher or an injured player
14 – All Players must be in uniform.  They may wear their individual team uniform if your league does not have a tournament uniform.
15 – Must supply 2 baseballs per game.  Take used balls afterwards.

 

  ***2014 JUNIOR LEAGUE PLAY OFF RULES***

*Regular Season Internal Rules then High School Rules will be followed with the exception of the following written below:

PITCHING

13-14 Year Olds - A Pitcher can only pitch up to 7 innings in both rounds - days rest do not apply

 ie: if Pitcher A pitches 4 innings in Round 1 and you make championship, he can only pitch 3 innings in championship

- 1 pitch constitutes an inning

15-16 Year Olds - A pitcher can pitch up to 4 inning in both rounds - days rest do not apply

ie: if Pitcher B pitches 1 inning in Round 1 and you make championship, he can only pitch 3 innings in championship

- 1 pitch constitutes an inning 

TIME LIMIT - NO TIME LIMIT                        

 

2014 LITTLE LEAGUE PLAY-OFFS 

*"House Rules" then Little League Baseball International Rules will be followed with the following modification:

*PLAY OFF RULES

TIME LIMIT - No Time Limit 

 PITCHING

 - 1 pitch in an inning constitutes 1 inning 

Majors National  and Minors

Elimination Game and Champioship Game - No more than 6 innngs per pitcher

ie: if Pitcher A pitches 4 innings in the first round and you advance, pitcher A can only pitch 2 innings in Championship Game 

 

Majors American

- 1st round 3 innings max per pitcher, if you advance innings reset

Elimination Game and Championship - No more than 6 innings per pitcher, same example as Majors National and Minors rule
