Jeff Jager - Boys Varsity Head Coach -

Jeff Jager is in his second year of coaching at North Forsyth, although has an extensive coaching and playing background in soccer.  He has played competitive soccer for over 18 years at the Classic 1, High School Varsity, and Division 2 College levels.  At Augusta State University he was a 4 year starter that helped his team achieve a school record high ranking of 14 in the nation for Division 2.  Jeff finished his competitive playing career in 2000 at ASU.  During his 4 years at ASU he was afforded the opportunity to begin his coaching career with the local club team.  During his coaching career, Jeff has coached ages ranging from U8 until U19 and all ability levels from Rec to select as well as Junior Varsity and Varsity at the High School level.  Jeff currently holds a USSF National D License and is the Varsity Boys Coach at North Forsyth High School.  On a personal note, Jeff is married to Mary Beth Jager who teaches at Forsyth Central.  They have 2 daughters, Ellie who is 3 and Reese who is 1 year old. 


Dana Chapman - Girls Varsity Head Coach -

Dana Chapman is in her third year of coaching at North Forsyth with experience in coaching and training soccer players from ages 4-22.  She helped train players of all levels at numerous clinics and summer camps through Lanier Soccer Association and Elite Indoor Soccer Academy.  After college she was the assistant coach for Brenau University where her main focuses were recruiting and goalkeeper training.  As a player, Dana started playing at the age of 4 and is still playing competitively.  In college she played for the Brenau University where she won numerous academic, conference, and region accolades as well as breaking the school record for goals scored, minutes played, games started, and was a 3 year captain.  After college, Coach Chapman was a starting player the Women’s Premier Soccer League’s Georgia Revolution. Dana is currently a PE teacher at Otwell Middle School and is married to Greg Chapman, a lieutenant for the Forsyth County Fire Department. 


Ben Rivers - Boys JV Head Coach -

Ben Rivers played for North Forsyth Varsity 1996-1997,  Emmanuel College 1998 played for club team, and is North Forsyth JV Boys Soccer coach 2009 to 2013.


Kevin Tauber - Girls JV Head Coach -

Kevin Tauber is in his second year coaching for the North Forsyth soccer program after most recently being the Asst. Girls Varsity & JV coach at Lumpkin County High School.  He also is the head coach for a U11 Boys Academy team and a U19 Girls team at Lumpkin County.  Coach Tauber joined the Forsyth Fusion Soccer Club in the Fall of 2003 after two years of coaching with the Henry County Soccer Association. His coaching career consists of working with girls from the U8, to U19 levels. His teams have won and been finalists in many tournaments. Girls from his team, mixed with girls from ASA, became what is now the UFA 95 Red team. Coach Tauber’s philosophy to coaching is the belief that building camaraderie among players is essential to a team’s success. He believes in finding a player’s hidden talent and focusing on the positive aspects of the individual player. He encourages his players to move beyond their comfort zone and reach their full potential through positive reinforcement. Kevin is a graduate of North Georgia College and State University, with a B.A. in History, and a minor in political science. He is a certified teacher in the fields of History in grades 6-12, as well as Special Education General Curriculum for grades P-12.  He resides in Dahlonega with his wife Debbie, a pre-k Special Education teacher.  They have two daughters, Kelly & Kasey.  Kelly is a student at North Georgia University, with the goal of becoming a nurse.  Kasey is a senior at Lumpkin County High School, and most recently chosen 1st Team All-Region as a center midfielder for the Girls Varsity soccer team.
