Middle school and private school students, from these districts, are also welcome and eligible to play. If you have any questions please check Questions&Answers or contact nnllregistration@yahoo.com

NNLL has the Colantonio Family Scholarship Program to provide assistance for families that have difficulty with the registration fee. No child will be denied the opportunity to play for lack of financial resources.  Please contact Chris Banks at 617 795 1500 or via e-mail at chrisjbanks@verizon.net  to discuss your situation.

We are hoping for more sponsors. In addition to advertising in our program book, we are offering team sponsorship this year. If your business would like to purchase space for an advertisement, or sponsor a team and have your name, or logo, appear on the back of the teams shirts, or purchase a sign for our outfield wall, please contact Paul D'Amore via e-mail at isag@comcast.net

There are two leagues for Summer Ball in Newton.

One is for 10 - 12 year olds:

The first program for 10-12 year olds is being run by Newton East Little League, but all are invited to take part.  This league  serves eligible boys and girls who were born on or between May 1, 1996 & April 30, 1999.  All new applicants must reside in Newton OR attend the Newton Public Schools.  The season begins in early July and runs through the middle of August.  Player evaluations take place Saturday June 20th from 10-12 at Jay Gordon Field.  (rain date Sunday June 21st, 3-5).  Applications and program information at: http://www.eteamz.com/newtoneastll/news/index.cfm?cat=267730.  All registrations must be done on-line at the web site. Registration deadline is Monday June 15th.  Coaching info is also available on-line.

The other is for  7- 9  year olds

Summer Baseball 7-9 Years Old
Newton West runs a summer, intramural league for children 7 to 9 years old (*10 year olds see note below). Similar to AA and Farm, this league is for any player who wishes to continue playing through July and into the middle of August. All games are played weeknights (Mon-Thu) and practices are held at the coach’s discretion. Information about summer baseball for 10 - 12 year olds can be found here.

Eligibility: Summer Intramurals is open to players from all areas of Newton.  Divisions: NWLL runs two divisions for summer intramurals – a ‘lower’ division for younger players that is coach-pitch and an
‘upper’ division that is a more competitive, kid-pitch league.  Typically all 7 yr olds will be placed in the ‘lower’ division and all 9 yr olds will be placed in the ‘upper’ division.  8 yr olds are placed based on performance during the player evaluations or their spring coach’s written evaluation.
Season: The season runs from July 6 through August 14th Mondays – Thursdays only. Player Evaluations: In order to form balanced teams, we will hold player evaluations at Franklin School on Monday, June 22 (rain date: Tuesday, June 23). Times are staggered with 7-year-olds at 5:45 pm, 8-year-olds at 6:30, and 9-year-olds at 7:00. Registration: Click here to begin the registration process. The cost is $95. FAQ: Click here for more information. *10 Yr Old players: 10 yr old players who are new to baseball or have a recommendation from their spring coach to play in this league may also register.

The Newton Senior League runs a baseball program for 13 year olds and older.  Their website is www.newtonyouthbaseball.org
