  Welcome

Saturday, November 7
Welcome to the official website of the Newton North Little League (NNLL)

Jeff Beatrice
Jeff Beatrice, manager of the 2009 Major League Champion Yankees and
long-time Newton North Little League Coach and Volunteer passed away suddenly
on October 23rd. Jeff will be missed by all of us in the NNLL community.
He is survived by his wife and eleven children.
A fund to help the family has been established at the Village Bank:
Jeffrey Beatrice Family Fund, c/o The Village Bank, 307 Auburn St, Auburndale, MA 02466.
Please consider making a donation.
You may also choose to help out the family by preparing a meal.
We have set up a NEW web site for this. http://www.lotsahelpinghands.com/c/619171/
The Beatrice Family Sports-A-Thon
is another way to participate in aiding the family.
It will take place this Wednesday Nov 11 (Veterans's Day)

Newton North Little League serves eligible boys and girls, from ages 5 to 12, who attend, or reside in the school districts of Horace Mann, Lincoln Eliot and Underwood elementary schools. Middle school and private school students, from these districts, are also welcome and eligible to play. If you have any questions please check Questions&Answers or contact nnllregistration@yahoo.com

NNLL has the Colantonio Family Scholarship Program to provide assistance for families that have difficulty with the registration fee. No child will be denied the opportunity to play for lack of financial resources.  Please contact Chris Banks at 617 795 1500 or via e-mail at chrisjbanks@verizon.net  to discuss your situation.

We are hoping for more sponsors. In addition to advertising in our program book, we are offering team sponsorship this year. If your business would like to purchase space for an advertisement, or sponsor a team and have your name, appear on the back of the team's shirts, or purchase a sign for our outfield wall, please contact Paul D'Amore via e-mail at isag@comcast.net

Newton North Little League is an all-volunteer organization and is always looking for more help. If you are interested in coaching in 2009 please contact our coaching coordinator, Stephen Mastromattei at stephenandlisa@verizon.net

If you are interested in helping out with any other area: joining our board of directors, fundraising, league administration, concessions, umpiring, field maintenance, etc. please contact Chris Banks at chrisjbanks@verizon.net

Please contact Chris Banks and/or Stephen Mastromattei if you have any questions or suggestions via e-mail. chrisjbanks@verizon.net and StephenandLisa@verizon.net

The Hot Line for NNLL is 617 584 NNLL (6655). We use this number for special announcements, game cancellations about 60 - 90 minutes prior to the start of the game and schedule changes, make up games, due to weather.  We will also update this web site with information regarding cancellations.
