The City of Newark Recreation & Community Services Department offers a broad range of recreation, social, cultural, educational, and human services to create community and improve the quality of life of all surounding residents.

The Silliman Activity Center offers Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis and we also have a 2,000 square foot fitness center. Our indoor Aquatics Center is one of the bay areas premier attractions. There is a lap pool, two water slides with a lazy river around the spash down pool, a spa and a childrens play are.
