Little League International Issues Update Regarding Composite Bats: Please check the Little League website frequently if you are considering buying a composite bat.  Rules have been changing on a weekly basis.

Registration for the upcoming spring 2012 baseball season will be held on the following dates at the VFW Social Hall (100 Veterans Ln, Newark, DE 19711)

Saturday, January 28, 2012  10:00am-12:00pm

Tuesday, January 31, 2012   6:00pm-8:00pm

Saturday, February 11, 2012   10:00am-12:00pm

Thursday, February 16, 2012  6:00pm-8:00pm

ALL players, new and returning, will need to provide a copy of their birth certificate. Even if we already have it from a previous season...WE MUST HAVE A NEW COPY. Thank you for your cooperation.

New Proof of Residence requirement for 2012:

“For the 2012 season, this requires players’parents or guardians

to provide residency documentation dated or in force between February 1, 2011 (previous year) and

February 1, 2012 (current year). This means, for instance, that a Driver’s License that was issued a

number of years earlier, but was in force between the dates noted, is acceptable. However, a utility

bill that is dated outside of the dates noted, is not acceptable.”

Recommended proof of residence items:

You need 3 separate items

 Drivers License

Current utility bill

Voters registration, must show the date

Recent Financial/bank record

Vehicle Registration

TRYOUT DATES FOR THE MINORS AND MAJORS DIVISIONS

Saturday, Feb. 25th 5:00-7:00pm

Saturday, March 3rd  5:00-7:00pm

Tryouts will be held at All-American Sports Academy in Elkton, MD.

The following are the registration fees for the Spring 2012 season:

T-Ball, ages 4-6 years old= $40.00

Minor A, Minor, Major, 7-12 years old= $85.00

Jr./Sr. & Big League, 13-18 years old= $120.00

THERE WILL BE A $25 LATE FEE ADDED AFTER FEBRUARY 16TH

Each player will purchase raffle tickets= $30.00

You may opt out of Tag Day for a $30.00 buy out.
