Travel Program
Ages: 8-14. Players will tryout and are placed on teams based on ability and age. There are teams, for players 10 and under (U10) and 12 and under (U12). U12 means all players must be 12 or younger on August 1 of a given year. A birth certificate MUST be provided for all travel team players.

Participation: Separate boys and girls teams.

Times: Begins in August on the first Tuesday after camp. Players must be pre-registered in order to have a spot. Late registrations may be placed on a wait list.

Practices are generally twice per week (Tuesday & Thursday; from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM with one game each weekend against neighboring towns (up to 35 minute drives to games). Schedules are subject to change throughout the season. Transportation is the responsibility of the player’s parents, including to games and practices.

Approach: Emphasis of the Travel Program is on higher level skill development and game tactics. There may be tryouts for Travel Teams. We form enough teams as coaches and players permit. Do not sign up your child for the Travel program if you anticipate other obligations keeping your child away from practices and games.

Equipment Needs: Parents need to provide soccer ball (sized according to age) shin pads, cleats, practice clothing and a water bottle. Uniforms will be provided for games.

Fees: $ 60.00 per child; $120 family maximum.







Recreation Program
For boys and girls (combined), ages 3-8. Players are broken into three age groups: 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8.

Times: The fall session begins the first Saturday after Labor Day and runs for 8 weeks. The spring session will begin in late April. In the fall, sessions are every Saturday from 9 AM to 10:00 for U4, 9 AM - 10:15 for U6, and 9 AM - 10:30 AM for U8. The fall program runs for 8 weeks. In the spring, sessions run from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM., and the program runs for 7 weeks.

Approach: The Recreational Program is designed to introduce soccer to young children in a fun, low-key atmosphere. Kids learn the fundamentals of the game through various drills, and small sided games.

Equipment Needs: Parents need to provide a soccer ball, shin pads, cleats, shorts and water bottle. A New London Soccer Club T-Shirt will be provided.

Fees: $30.00 per child; with a family cap of $120.00. Non-New London residents pay an extra $10, unless a parent volunteers for the club.
