Good news. Calkins Park is part of the plan to improve the city parks and fields. Money has been bonded and plans are underway to secure a contractor who will begin planning the construction. Plans include rehab of the field space, installation of irrigation, remodeling the bathrooms (yeah!) as well as other improvements to the larger park. This will require closing parts of the park if done in phases or all of the park for up to a year. We have begun reaching out to identify other field space and will make every effort to minimize the disruption to the rec and travel programs. Check into the website for updates.
Board Meetings
Board meetings are held monthly. A limited number of members are still being accepted for the board. Please contact Steve Smith at steve@newlondonsoccerclub.org for more information.
