2007: Jay had a phenomenal rookie season. He became a workhorse for the club, appearing in a single-season record 21 games. He also set the record for innings pitched in a season, tossing 132 1/3 innings and allowing only 114 hits. He posted a very impressive 2.24 ERA with a 8-6 record and seven complete games. Not one to shy away from the spotlight, Jay had some of his best performances in big game situations, including a complete game win in the QMBL championship.
