2007: Ed appeared in 12 games, making it three straight seasons of 10+ appearances. The skipper's 6 wins for the season brings his career total to 22. He threw 54 1/3 innings, 3rd most on the team. His 2.65 ERA was also third best on the team.
2006: Ed had an incredible '06 campaign. He went 7-1 in 14 games with a 1.96 ERA. He combined with his youngest son, Brian, to be one of the deadliest one-two punches in the QMBL. Combined the two lefties went 16-2 and both posted below 2.00 ERAs. In 73 1/3 innins of work, he allowed just 61 hits and 16 earned runs.
2005: Along with being manager, Ed was the workhorse for the Nassau Yankees. In 11 starts, he completed seven. He went 9-1 with a 2.44 ERA. He led the Yanks in every single pitching categories: Games, complete games, innings, wins and strikeouts.
PERSONAL: Prior to forming the Nassau Yankees, Ed has built quite a reputation in the game of baseball. He spent nine years as the pitching coach at St. John's University, helping guide the program to two Big East championships and three NCAA regional appearances. He also coached at C.W. Post and Queens College. He pitched collegiately at New York Tech.
