AWARDS: 2005 & 2007 QMBL All-Star, 2005 QMBL Batting Champion

2007: Paul was named captain at the start of the season. He played in 45 games, second most on the team. In 133 at-bats, he hit .316 with 8 doubles, a triple and a homerun. He drove in 25 runs, while scoring a team-record 43 times. He also drew 21 walks and had 9 hit by pitches, both good for second on the club. It was the third straight season he finished with a .300 batting average, .400 on-base percentage and .400 slugging percentage. In 3 appearances on the mound, Paul went 7 2/3 scoreless innings, including tossing six shutouts in the final regular season game. Paul sits atop the career leaderboard in several categories, including games played (99), at-bats (306), hits (105), runs scored (84) and doubles (17). He also ranks in the top five all-time in batting average, RBIs, homeruns, stolen bases, on-base percentage an slugging percentage.

2006: Despite missing the first month of the season due to a back injury, Paul turned in another stellar season. In 31 games, he hit a career high .376, 2nd best on the club. His 32 hits were also 2nd on the team and he walked a team-high 19 times.

2005: Paul had a terrific '05 season. He hit .377 during the regular season to win the QMBL batting crown. He led the team in at-bats and games played, while finishing second on the club in runs, hits, walks and stolen bases. He also earned a spot in the QMBL All-Star game.

PERSONAL: Paul is currently the head coach for the 16u Team NY Cardinals. In addition, he has spent time coaching at Queensborough CC, Stuyvesant HS and Long Island Tigers. He is also a site director for the New York Mets Baseball Academy. He will be graduating from Stony Brook Univ. this spring with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics and Statistics. Pitched collegiately at Stony Brook University and Rider University. While in high school, he pitched for the Long Island Tigers. In 2000, tossed six shutout innings in the regional final to send the Tigers to the NABF World Series.
